Peloton Console | Home Fitness Re-defined

Peloton Console | Home Fitness Re-defined

The Peloton Console is a high-definition, 22-inch sweat-proof interface designed to serve as the immersive focal point of the Peloton ecosystem. Engineered for the rigors of high-intensity training, the hardware balances a slim, minimalist profile with the structural integrity required to support 10-point multi-touch interaction under heavy use. The assembly features a high-impact, UV-resistant housing and an anti-reflective display, ensuring clarity and tactile responsiveness in a variety of home environments. By integrating a high-fidelity front-facing camera and front-firing speakers into a weather-sealed architecture, the console provides a reliable platform for real-time performance tracking and live-streamed content delivery.

Role | Contribution

3D CAD & Prototyping: Sculpted production-ready surfaces for the primary housing and internal structural components. Managed the integration of the mechanical stack and display assembly within the master CAD model, utilizing rapid prototyping to validate form factor and hardware mounting points.

Hardware UX & Product Development: Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define the physical touchpoints of the console. Directed the placement and ergonomics of the camera and speaker systems to ensure an intuitive and immersive user experience.

CMFG & Product Language: Established a comprehensive Color, Material, Finish, and Graphics strategy focused on sweat-resistance and long-term durability. Refined the surface finish and branding application to ensure the console maintained a premium aesthetic consistent with the broader Peloton hardware ecosystem.

Visualization & Rendering: Developed high-fidelity renderings and visualizations to communicate the intersection of mechanical requirements and aesthetic goals. These assets were instrumental in aligning stakeholders on design intent and material selection during the pre-production phase.
